Databuild can hold an unlimited number of companies. This module manages them.
Details
As well as basic information, this screen holds certain company based information for each Company:
GST rate, and whether Accrual or Cash basis
Digital Signature, so that if you Email orders and other information, the recipients can confirm the source
Security Levels. Setting security levels on each job allows you to restrict access to certain jobs to certain users
Databases that relate to that company. Each company has up to three databases:
System Database that holds non Job-based data such as price lists, supplier details etc. System databases can be shared with other companies.
Job Database that holds data specific to that company such as Job Details, Transactions, Quantities. Job Databases cannot be shared with other companies
Transaction Database. To reduce the size of the job database, You can split it in two by separating the transactions into a transaction database. This can be important if you are using large Access databases. Once again, this database may not be shared with another company

UPDATE To Update, Repair and Compact the database
Background Color. You can see at a glance what company you are in by setting each to a different color
Documents can be saved in separate folders for each company, below the documents folder as set in Defaults. If this field is blank, documents are saved in the documents folder directly.
Report Company Logo. An image file can be selected to print as a company logo on all Crystal Reports. This logo, if set, over-rides any system wide logo set in Defaults

Previews Companies Report
Backup current company. (Only suitable for Access database. If databases are SQL Server use Enterprise Manager or similar)
Zips selected companies' data into a zip file for backup purposes.
