Front End is a Sales Estimating system designed to be used by sales staff or estimators who do not have either the skill levels or authority to build up quotes from scratch. Instead, quotes are built up by selecting from a list of standard models, and then ticking a list of options and PC Items from a list available for that model.. Quantities, if required, are very basic and may even be linked to system generated variables
As no costs or margins are displayed at this level, the system can readily be used in front of potential clients in a sales envirenment.
The system then produces formatted proposals and contracts.
The system generates required Text Variables and Job Variables automatically. Text Variables are used for colour and finish schedules and once selected find their way through to final orders. Job Variables force quantities into options, PC Items and the final bill
Finally, the system links back to its parent Databuild system, and transfers data and creates any necessary Jobs, Contacts, Bills, orders and much more. After updating the parent system, the target job can then be ready to order
A Sales Analysis system, and a series of reports keeps track of quotes, sales and relative success rates
A secured part of the system sets up allowable Models and their Options and links them back to bills, items, recipes and macros in the parent Databuild system.
