Summary
The Setup Wizard is a quick way of configuring your system. It is run automatically the first time your system runs.
After that it can be run from the Wizard button. on the logon screen
Details
There are 4 steps to configuring your System:
1. Initial Setup
| • | Accept or Alter your Common database name.The system will create a new Common database if none exists |
| • | Nominate a data folder. This is the default folder where Access databases and custom reports are stored |
| • | Nominate a documents folder. This is the folder below which system generated documents are stored. Sub Folders are setup in Layout Files |
| • | Select a background color for the Logon Screen and companies that have not had their own background color set |

| • | Select a data provider |
| • |
| • | If the data provider is not Microsoft Access, you will also need to enter your Server Name |
2 Companies
On new systems, an initial company and databases will be setup based on Registrationinformation.

3 Users
On new systems, an initial user and database will be setup.

4 Sample Databases
Databuild ships with several sample databases.Use this tab to select sample databases for any company you have created.
While the Setup wizard is designed to give you a flying start, it can be used at any stage to view or modify your setup. It is really a subset of the larger Setup module
