Summary
Front End is a Sales Estimating system designed to be used by sales staff or estimators who do not have either the skill levels or authority to build up quotes from scratch. Instead, quotes are built up by selecting from a list of standard models, and then ticking a list of options and PC Items from a list available for that model.. Quantities, if required, are very basic and may even be linked to system generated variables

The main screen has a grid containg existing quotes and an Index Tab with 9 tabs:

Action
The Quotation price is calculated by taking the model's price and adding all the selected option and PC prices, and as such is not designed to be edited by the user.
Having said that, Price and Duration can be edited when:
No model has been selected
The Model Code starts with "V" (for "Variable").
Similarly, changing model or options will update the selling price when:
A model has been selected
The Model Code does not start does not "V" or the existing price is Zero.

Delete the current or selected quote(s)
Rebuilds Quote Texts
Make a copy of the current quote

Scan Scans current model and selected options to build up a list of variables for the current quote
