Heading Panel

Job No -                Selection drop-down.

VO -                The Variation Bill number        

Total Cost -                Display

Price Level -        Selection box

Lock Prices -        Check box

Loads -                To view the total amount of loads

Date -                That new items are to be priced at.

If any item is selected, 3   buttons appear pressing this button will set all selected items to the current price level, price lock status or load No

A load lock button locks the load for future items to the current load, unless that load has already been ordered.

Top Panel

This holds Cost Centres grid and a Loads grid - additional fields can be added through the bill of quantities Options screen

If View Sub Groups has been selected, this panel includes sub groups:

If you click on a sub group, only cost centres in that group are shown

Centre Panel

This holds a vertical text box that contains either a workup text or a quantity generator text for the current item

Buttons to the right control functionality in the Centre Panel:

               Makes the TAB key move within the text

               Loads the Databuild word processor to facilitate editing

               Loads text from a file into the workup

Lower panel

This holds items, quantities and price in the Cost Centre selected

                       Cost Centre -                Sets quantity on current item to total hours on all items in Cost Centre

                       Job -                        Sets quantity on current item to total hours on all items in job

                       Cost Centre -                Sets quantity on current item to total weight on all items in Cost Centre

                       Job -                        Sets quantity on current item to total weight on all items in job

               Snapshot Menu

               View Menu

               Sub groups -                        The top panel changes to include Sub Groups

               Live Cost Centres Only -                Only Cost Centres that contain any data are shown. This is automatically turned off for empty jobs

               Standard Sizing                Sizes Quantities, Search and picture screens are set to pre-determined sizes

                       Normal Load -                Finds the next free load that is a normal load

                       Over-run -                Finds the next free load that is an over-run

                       Variation -                Finds the next free load that is a variation

               Navigate Menu

               Find Job -                        Search for a Job Code, Debtor name or Job Details

               Next Job -                        Selects next job in the List

               Previous Job -                        Selects the Job you were previously in

               Next Cost Centre -                Pushes you to the next Cost Centre

               Previous Cost Centre -                Places you back to the previous Cost Centre used

               Select a Cost Centre -                Search for a Cost Centre Code

               Start of Cost Centre -                Places the attention to the first item in that Cost Centre

               End of Cost Centre -                Places the attention to the last item in that Cost Centre

               Find Code -                        Search for an item Code

               Text Input -                        Places the attention in the Workup Text

               Actions Menu

               New Item -                        Adds a new item

               Item Search -                        Brings up the load Item search module

               Delete Item(s) -                        Deletes highlighted Item

               Explode Recipes -                Opens the Explode Recipe module

               Lock/Unlock Prices -                Enables the ability to lock/unlock all prices for a particular Cost Centre or all Cost Centres

               Sort Items -                        Opens the Sorting module

               Rebuild Prices -                        Opens the Reprice Bill module

               Load Current Template -                Over-rides the current workup text with the item's template (if it exists)

               Code Substitution -                Searches for any code Substitutions on the job

               Add to Orders Batch -        Adds all orders for the current job (or Cost Centres if selected) to the Orders Batch

               Generate Quantities

                       This CC        -                Calculates the Quantity Generator for that Cost Centre (if any applied)

                       This Job -                Calculates the Quantity Generator for the Job (if any applied)

               Split Items

               Ambiguous Suppliers menu -        Scans the bill for ambiguous references

               Workup Menu

               Import -                                Loads a text file into the workup area

               Sort -                                Sorts the workup text. Useful for timber lists etc

               Round -                                Rounds quantities within workup text to the rounding values set in Units of Measurement

               Sort and Round -                Sorts, then rounds workup text

               Focus -                                Sets focus to the workup area

               Invoice/Claim -                        Loads Invoicing module

               Variations -                        Loads Variations module
