Creates Quotations

The left panel builds up the quotation. After selecting a Job, a salesperson ( loads the SalespersonModule) and a Quote Number, the quote is built up from 3 components:
Preamble. Built up from a series of standard notes and viewed in the Preamble Index tab. loads the Standard Notes module to select notes for Preamble. If fields are added to Preamble such as [JUDF1] they will be populated with their relevant values.
Details. Format is selected in the Details drop-down. Options are:

Follow On. Built up from a series of standard notes and viewed in the Follow On Index tab. loads the Standard Notes module to select notes for Follow On. If fields are added to Follow On such as [JUDF1] they will be populated with their relevant values.
The system retrieves the last cost of the job.
3 Types of markup can be applied:
| • | Use Saved Quote. If applied the markup set when the quote was previously saved can be used. This disables setting additional markups if checked, and is only available if the job has been previously saved to Quote History. |
| • | Apply Cost Centre Markups. Each Cost Centre can have a default Markup applied (refer Cost Centres). This can be used to apply different loadings to each Cost Centre. |
| • | Apply Base Markups. Up to 5 levels of markup can be applied. Each markup is applied to the last cost of the Bill and can be Compounded if Compound Markups is ticked. |
Substitute Text Variables options turns Text Variable replacement on and off.
After refreshing the Quotation, you are now ready to produce a quotation.
