Before importing, enter the following:

Template file. You can load ( File ) and save ( save ) templates to avoid retyping details every time you process a particular supplier's data

Template: Possibly the name of the Supplier. You can save this template and load when importing price files from this supplier (if the format is constant). If you are importing from many suppliers, keep a different template file for each one

Factor: You can increase or decrease all prices by a fixed factor

Header Lines: Type the number of lines you want the system to ignore when importing (they may include headings such as an address or title which will not be part of your price file).

Strip Quotes: Some price files will show quotation marks around items. Check this to remove quotation marks before importing.

Separator: Enter the character that acts as separator in this file.

List Fields: Fields in some files will be listed in different orders. Indicate this order by assigning a number to each field in this list, so the system can correctly select field items to populate the table.
