Snapshots

Rather than rely on Undo and Redo functions, Databuild saves copies of your current work:

This file is saved:

Whenever you load a job if it does not already exist

When you select Save Snapshot from the Edit menu (shift F12)

When you press the Save button on the toolbar

Automatically if you have  set a time in Options

The files are XML files, saved in your Data Folder (set in Setup/Defaults ).

The file name is        BILLSNAP[User ID] [Job Code].XML

where        [User ID]        is the ID of the current user

       [Job Code]        is the current job Code

Snapshots can be retreived (which over-ride the current job) by selecting Load Snapshot from the Edit/Snapshot menu

You can also load snapshots from another user, or indeed another job. This is a quick and dirty method of copying quantities.
