Summary
The simplest way to run Job Control is to use the Tree View
Details

Activities on the current job are displayed, and can be manipulated using the command buttons:
Add a new activity. This loads the Activities screen, where you can drag & drop Milestones, Actions, and Cost Centres
Deletes the selected activity and all activities below it.
Moves an activity UP the list
Moves an activity DOWN the list
Moves an activity to the LEFT, that is onto the same level as its parent
Moves an activity to the RIGHT, that is UNDER the preceding activity
Expands the tree so that all activities are visible
Collapses the tree so that only milestones are visible
Collapses and Expands the tree so that only incomplete activities are visible
Declares child activities of completed activities to be also complete
Declares parent activities of completed activities to be also complete
Prints the tree
When an activity is selected (by clicking on it), a details block is displayed, containing:
| • | Activity name, stage, dates, locks, days and float. Float is the number of days "up your sleeve" before delays to this activity impact on the overall project |
| • | Activity target dates, locks, days and float (if Show Targets is checked) |
| • | Comments, Action By Whom and UDF Date link. By Linking to a user definable date, rebuilding the schedule resets these dates which can be linked to the Claim Schedule to automatically generate progress Claims |
| • | OK to Pay details (if Show OK to Pay is checked) |
