Summary
Each item in the Price List requires a unit of measurement. This unit determines what input and calculation routines are triggered

Each unit of measurement contains:
| • | Printout description This may or may not differ from the display description. |
| • | Rounding Bill quantities are rounded off to this value. |
| • | Divisor Calculated prices are divided by this value. |

| Fixed Amount | The value is independent of quantity |
| Percentage | Adds previous items in the cost centre (or until a Heading Item is encountered) |
Calculates the quantity % of that total
| Heading | Items without quantities or values, used as headings |
Forces bold format in grids and RTF reports
Acts as a blocker for prior items whwn calculating Percentage routine
Weight Per Length
| % of Contract | The system reads the Amended Contact Price (without GST) from the current Job and sets this as the Unit Price. |
Prices set against items whose Units of measurement have this calculation routine are therefore ignored
The quantity of the bill item is the percentage to be applied. Divisor field in Units screen is therefore ignored and always set to 100
Uses include Commission calculations, Architects fees etc
Each Day
Each Week
| Each Month | The system reads the Start Date and End Date from the current Job and calculates the number of days, weeks, or months. Partial amounts are rounded up to the next whole week or month. |
This value then over-rides the quantity previously set for the bill or order
The start and end dates can be set in the Job Screen, the Feasibility study screen or calculated in the Job Control module
Uses include hire items, council rates, security charges etc
Title Similar to Heading except that items with this calculation routine do not act as blockers for Percentage routine
| • | Equivalent Codes When importing items or prices from your suppliers, they may have different codes for the same units. |

| • | Bold Indicates whether items with theses units are printed and displayed bold |
| • | Color Default color of items with theses units |
| • | Default recipe color can be set by pressing the Default recipe color box |

Deletes the current or Selected Unit(s)
Sets colors to factory settings. These settings can then be used as factory settings for catalogue items
