Overview

Job Control helps you predict and monitor progress on all your jobs, all the while keeping a keen and fully automatic eye on your financial and physical resources.

Job Control:

  • Sends emails to your suppliers with updated delivery dates for undelivered orders.
  • Sends SMS messages to supervisors and contractors.
  • Creates graphical progress charts instantly.
  • Automatically maps actual progress against targets on all activities.
  • Produces instant colour job progress charts in several different formats.
  • Prepares instant resource usage reports so you can organise jobs and prevent ‘bottlenecks'.
  • Formats cash flow reports instantly.

We recognise that the domestic building process is basically linear - one activity follows another until the job is done.

Job Control lets you organise your business by allowing you to monitor your progress by reference to all the Milestones, Orders and Activities necessary for you to achieve to finish works.

Standard Templates

Job Control provides the user with the ability to create templates for types of construction rather than for each individual job.

For example, separate templates may be designed for single storey construction, or double storey dwellings.

This allows users to streamline their monitoring processes and compare jobs more readily.

Each template normally contains three types of components:
Milestones, Orders and Activities.

Each template may be fine tuned, customised or edited to suit particular needs.

The Main Job Control Screen

Job Control's main screen is designed to give users full instant access to all relevant job data all of the time.

Tabular presentation of data allows for fast editing and quick drag and drop data transition.

Full colour graphic presentation of data and easy mouse-click editing.

All job and client details are just a click away and is fully integrated with the parent Databuild system.

Diary notes relating to Job and Client are easily accessed via the notes tab.

Changing the status of a stage within a job is a simple function.

The UDF tab (user definable fields) lets you add your own customised fields for each job and client and is fully integrated with the parent Databuild system.

Orders

All relevant ordering data is displayed. From this window delivery dates can be set automatically or edited manually. Alternative

Can Do Screen

The Can Do screen is where most of the system monitoring is done, and documentation, emails and SMS messages are generated
The Can Do screen shows the next uncompleted action within the job/s. These are of course all the activities that you can now do. The number of days from today until anticipated completion is displayed, and shown in red if negative.

Reports

The reports window allows gives the operator the freedom to select the type of report and what is to be included within the report, such as milestones, actions, etc.
